Im very unimpressed this year with Lushes Christmas line.

Seriously, have you smelled them?

Christmas angel

I, personally, love this. Its just Haargen bath in the shape of an angel. Pink spear minty goodness. Whats not to love?

This is my favorite stand alone bomb. Most others have quite a weak smell, and feel they need to be cocktailed, but not this!

Green wash soap

Pine sol much? Smells like disinfectant to me. Very disappointed! I was hoping for a 'greenday' type smell, not industrial strength cleaner.

Green party

Smells like salad to me. Simple. Not a fan at all. Oh, and i also hate bombs that must be 'socked' in order to use them. Im not wanting to scrape 500 pieces of paper out the bottom of my tub, thanks.

So whats the big deal with this one, seriously? Its just the Karma scent in a bomb form, right? Karma smells like generic bubble bath to me, haha! No love there.

and finally, for now:

I hate it. I KNOW!! OMFGWTFBBQ?! Etc.

Most over hyper lush product much? I was expecting nice marzipan, almond-y goodness. All i got was Rose and floral. Very disappointed after seeing such a hype for it. Ive read its VERY drying as well.

S'all for now folks.

Jasmin and Henna Fuff-eaze

I'm relatively new to Lush products, so please keep posting your reviews to help me find the best stuff.

Yesterday I was given a free sample of Jasmine and Henna Fluff Eaze. Good choice by the sampling lady; I have hair which enjoys fluffing out at the ends and yesterday I was giving it a day off from gel etc. so it was dancing happily in the autumn breeze and made a nice halo of fluff by the time i got to the shop.
So today I tried it out, it took a few minutes to work through my hair and then I left on for the advised 20 minutes whilst making a cup of tea and watching the morning news. Then I showered it off and used my normal (non-lush, any recommendations?) shampoo and conditioner, and allowed to dry naturally.
It really worked, my hair stayed sleek and shiny all day with only a hint of frizziness after a long walk outside, which brushed down again easily. The best bit is that i have been walking around in my own personal cloud of jasmine scent, every time my hair brushes across my face i get a delicious whiff. Don't know how it manages to hang on in there and drown out the shampoo smell, but it does.
It is, naturally, the most expensive hair treatment available at £9.95 for 220g. But when I save up enough pennies for a whole tub I won't need to use perfume any more!
I wanted to be cautious with my first review but this has to be 5 out of 5 for gorgeousness. Only people who don't like the scent of jasmine or trying to save money should avoid this treatment.

Quick post.

Went to Lush today to smell their new 'Green' line. They have a shampoo bar, solid purfume, spray purfume, hand cream, and bath bomb. I didnt like the smell of any of them. Green is the word i suppose, but its not green like 'greenday' or 'tramp'. Not my thing, so i wont be buying them.

The X mas products come out in 2 weeks time.. Cant wait to see what they are! (although i already know the American x mas product list)

Will do another soon i promise! (alot going on atm)

After discovering an unknown product belonging to lush on ebay, i went straight to the Lush forum to ask about it.

3 of my threads about these products were deleted!

Hi, just some information from you as to why this thread was removed.

The guidelines for that section prohibit these type of threads

9 ) If any post contains competitive information such as information on products that have not yet been release by LUSH, we reserve the right to move this thread. For example, information on products being released for Xmas that are broadcast before these details are public is frowned upon.

If you are unfamiliar with the posting guidelines for that section, they can be found here: http://forum.lush.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17950

Please do not start additional threads.

The products which i found were:

*Silky underwear solid purfum
*Potion solid purfume
*American cream solid purfume
*Fever solid purfume
*Go greens solid purfume

You heard it here first people! Lush is making solid purfumes! (Aka, temple balms with a new name, and probably bumped up price)

Im on the Lush NA forum as 'poke_me_an_die' PM me or look me up if you have any questions.

Long time no update! Sorry! Here's one though.

The olive branch

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

100g £3.50

Out of all the shower gels (the 4..) this HAS to be my favourite. Its so citrusy sweet and.. Well.. Amazing!

Its quite a runny shower gel, and you have to shake it to mix the oil's on the top (looks like white foam, almost) with the gel. Once its cloudy, its ready to use.

A tiny amount of this gives me tons of bubbles when used in a shower poof, and the smell lasts on me ALL day long. Such a comforting smell. Some people say it has the smell of 'cigarettes' but all i can say to these people is 'You must have a bad batch', because the smell of olive branch is most definatly not smokey.

Its wonderfully moisturising, and great value for money. I have to give it 5- 5. I cant fault it at all.

Side note- I just made a body salt scrub with this, and some olive oil, which smells and feels AMAZING. Nice and scrubby, and the smell lasts all day (The olive oil makes it very moisturising as well.. Give it a try!)

Lush's BIG has said that about 30- 40 products will be discontinued.

He said he is not happy with the expensive liquid products, as the ecofriendly packaging is expensive. (For every 10p spent on product, you pay 30p for packaging) He wants to promote SOLID products, as they need little, to no packaging.

BIG put emphasis on how he would like new hair products, and wants people to spend more on them, but is against shower gels and balistics, as they are expensive.

He also said that ALL the bath melts will go in time.

Store managers have put togeather a 'bottom of sales' list of products, and now they have been decided, they just have to set dates for them to go.

Just a heads up people, sorry if you heard this before.

Information obtained from the IF forum, and NA forum. Most of this information came straight from BIG's mouth while at a lush party in dublin, and Lush's Hilary on the forums.

Goth juice

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

100gs £6.25... I KNOW!!! Rip off.

So this is on of lush's first official hair gel's. I suppose you can count cosmetic lad as the FIRST, but thats meant to be a facial moisturiser.

To me, it smells alot like Party on shower jelly, but i get errm.. i dont know how to describe this.. You know mold smells like dirt? Well i get 'dirty' undertones to it..

It ment to be medium hold, but i found it didnt really 'hold' that much at all, heh..

It did leave my hair soft and shiney though, with out looking product coated. I cant wait to get my hair cut shorter to try this again, but because of the weird smells i dont think i will be buying it again when i run out. (it smelled beter in the shop, haha, Damn the other smells mixing in with it!)

I spoke to a SA in the store today, and she had just used 'the big tease' and wasnt impressed.. She asked about goth juice and all she could say was 'well.. Its got a nice colour at least?' Haha, i agree, but the smell is vile.

I wonder what alternative uses it has..

For me, this will only get a 1 out of 5. What a shocking product?! £6.25 for a 100gs tub? Eugh. Not worth it at all, when you can get salon products for LESS that that, and usually in larger quantities. Smells like Moldy bread, or Dirt. NOT WORTH IT!

Lush has created 6 new hair products:

*Curly Wurly- Think this is a shampoo.. Not sure..
*The Hair Doctor- Pre treat shampoo.
*Jasmine fluff-ease: pre-shampoo de-frizzing conditioner with henna
*King of mods- Styling gel.
*The Big tease- Styling gel.
*Goth juice- Styling gel.

Seems kind of silly that they made 3 gells, but then i realised they are different strenghts.

My lush didnt have the hair doctor, other wise i would have got it.. I only bought 'Goth juice' medium hold gell. Tryed it once, and although the hold wasnt amazing, it did leave my hair soft, and shiny, with out feeling coated in product. The smell was quite menthol-y, which im not really a fan of.

Will try again at another time..
