Green day bubble bar

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

£2.50 100gs

This is my absolute favourite bubble bar, as well as The comforter. This an amazing 'green' smell, which is just so relaxing, and refreshing.

The colours arent as bright as the picture.. They make it look almost flouresent! They are a much deeper shade of green.

Not much else to say really.. Loads of bubbles, and wonderfull green bath water.

5 out of 5 for me. Love the smell, cant get enough of it. Works wonderfull with Tramp shower gel.

(Carmen) Miranda soap

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

£2.35 100gs

What can i say.. My precious Miranda.. ITS BEEN DISCONTINUED!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!! HOW COULD YOU LUSH?!?.. Any way.

This is my favourite soap, by far. Its one of the few fruity soaps, and it smells AMAZING! I found out it was discontinued and bought all the miranda my local shop had (no joke).

Smells of Kiwi, and there is no other lush smell like it..

It doesnt look like it does in the picture. Far from it infact. Its a pale green colour, with 3 long bars of coloured soap running through the top of it.

Buy it while you still can!

5 out of 5 again. No soap will replace Miranda for me. Wonderfull refreshing fruity scent.. *sigh*

Avobath

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

£2.35 180g

I was a little worried about using it, because it's absolutly full of glitter. Luckly for me, none of it stuck at all (and the little that did, washed off). The smell of lemongrass was fresh and uplifting, and it turned the bath a wonderfull green colour. The glitter dancing around in the water was really pretty!

Oh, and its full of avocado and olive oils, which made my skin sooo soft, and not greasy at all!

4 out of 5 for me. I loved it (although im usually not a fan of citrus smells), but some people might be put off by the glitter.

Trichomania (shampoo)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

£3.75 100g

The name 'Trichomania' means 'love of hair'. Its rather strange i have to say, and not in a bad way, just.. Different.

Its a solid block, and its quite hard, yet brittle. It smells of coconut, which i think is a great smell.. Shame every one thinks that you are smothered in suncream when they smell it, even on a dull day!

It was easy to use. I cut off a small chunk (although you could just rub the whole bar on your head) and rubbed it all over my head. It instantly started to lather up. When dryed my hair felt really soft, and was super shiney! This is one of my lush staples. I love this product!

5 out of 5. This is one of the products thats got me hooked on lush. Any one that loves coconut should use this, and lush's coconut deodorant poweder for the full tropical experience!

Jungle (conditioner)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

£3.50 100g

Its made of loads of tropical fuit oils, and contains cocoa butters which are good for your hair and scalp.

This was also strange, but not in a bad way. When you look at it from the side, (that pictures a bad one) You can see the layers of it. The out sides hard, then there is a very soft layer, then another hard layer. Due to the strange consistancy of it, it was quite hard to apply. I would suggest cutting off a small chunk, putting it in a pot with some hot liquid (small amount) and mushing it up to make a liquid. Its much easier to use this way.

It was easy to wash out, which was a relief, seems as i find most are almost impossible to wash out, and usually have to Shampoo my hair after to prevent it looking greasy! (No, im not using to much!)

My hair is now so soft and shiney! Much better than my usual 'Tresemmé', or 'bed head' conditioners.

Even though it was hard to apply, i have to say, this is a great product. (Although i still cant tell what it smells like! One of the best lush smells.)

4 out of 5. One of the best lush smells in my opinion, but it can be awkward to use. If melted down, its an amazing skin conditioner, and people swear by it as a shaving cream. (im a man, i wouldnt know..)

Today its Blackberry bath bomb, and Imperialis moisturiser.

Blackberry bath bomb

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

180gs £2.25

This is one of the oldest bath bombs lush has to offer, and it was also the second one i tried! Its also the bomb with the least ingredients (next to Tisty Tosty).

This bomb smells so sweet and fruity, i just had to buy it. I used it as soon as i got home, and it filled the whole house with its beautifull smell! It turned the bath a wonderfully rich looking purple colour, which i loved. In side of it, there is a peice of paper with 'BOOM BOOM' printed on it, which made me laugh as it floated to the surface.

The first time i used one of these, it was fine.. The second time, it made my skin a little itchy.. I dont know what changed, but i had to get out the bath after about 10 minutes.. Which i was annoyed about..

I'm going to try another one, to see if it makes me itch again, because if it didnt the first time, why would it the second?

I'll give this one a 4 out of 5. Its a simple bath bomb with a wonderfull smell, and colour. The 'suprise' inside gave me a few laughs as well. I'll knock a mark off, because, unlike 'happy pill' which fizzes away for well over 10 minutes, this one lasts less than 2!

Imperialis moisturiser

45gs £7.00?

Ok, so i just went to the lush website, and this product isnt on there any more.. Strange.. Though alot of there shampoo's have been taken off, and are slowly being put back, so im not sure whats going on.. Maybe its been discontinued? I'll still review it, as even if its been disconed, you should be able to buy it in shopps untill they run out of stock. EDIT! Its back on the website.

Its a strange pink colour, and its smell is strangly medicinal.. But i actually like this moisturiser. Its good for oily skin (which i dont REALLY have) and good for calming skin as well.

Ever since i started using this product (along with angels on bare skin cleanser) friends at college are actually commenting on how clear and smooth my skin looks, and i'll tell you now, that has NEVER happened before!

My skin feels so soft and smooth, and it helps prevent those sudden out breaks of spots that i seem to get. Its also great after shaving to help stop those annoying red lumps that can appear.

It's a light moisturiser, and it doesnt linger on your skin, and make you feel 'coated' in product.

I will give this a 4 out of 5. I sooo want to give it 5, but some people would say that it lacks the wonderfull smell that is expected of lush products. Oh well, if it is discontinued, i'll certainly be getting another pot just so i dont run out!

Another review

Heavenly bodies

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

100g £3.50

Buttercreams are great. They are basically posh soaps, but they dont lather, at all. They are a wonderfully softening wash, which doesnt dry your skin out AT ALL, unlike alot of soaps.

Heavenly bodies is scented with Chocolate, Vanila absolute, and orange juice. If you didnt know that it was a soap, you would actually belive you could eat it, its THAT good (no joke). It is topped with chocolate, as you can see in the picture, but it really doesnt serve any purpose other than looking pretty (unlike the honey comb on 'honey i washed the kids' soap).

I personally wasnt actually THAT impressed with this product.. I have 'Lemslip' body butter as well, which is great for spots on your body, (and it actually work) and its really soft. You just grab a bit of it and rub it over your body. Heavenly bodies is different though, its still soft, but not soft enough to just grab a bit.. But its also not as hard as soaps.. I found it could be quite awkward at times.

The smell lingers, and i have to say, its a wonderfull smell. Its like chocolate oranges.

Sadly, i found this to be a little expensive for what it is, and other than the smell, i wouldnt say it really has much going for it.

I give it 3 out of 5. The smells nice, but the texture is a little to awkward for my liking, and i much prefer the shower gel equivelant, 'Sonic death monkey'

Sonic death monkey
Dig that crazy gravey

100gs £3.50

Its scented with Chocolate, coffee, and lime juice. It seems a weird combination, but it works perfectly. It smells strongly of Chocolate, with a hint of lime, its wonderfull!

Im not sure where the name came from, but i love it, and it works, so i wont complain! (i think it was some sort of cult film?)

I just squeese a bit of this stuff on my hands/ sponge then watch it lather like crazy. A little goes a long way (Which is good, as its hardly cheap, when a 500gs bottle is £12.75), and i have used hardly any of my bottle! (i only have 100gs)

This is perfect for in the morning. The coffee and lime smells really wake you up, and the scent stays on your body all day. A must for chocoholics.

I give this 4 out of 5. Although i love it, its hardly cheap. But its great name makes up for that, hehe.

Today im going to be looking at The 'Honeybee' Bath bomb/balistic, and 'Honey i washed the kids' soap.

Honeybee

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

£2.40

I REALLY love the smell and look of this bath bomb. When i saw, and smelled it in the shop, i just had to buy it. Plus, its absolutly HUGE! As the name implys, it smells of honey, and what an amazing smell it is! This is an absolute must for any one with a sweet tooth.

The honey moisturises your skin, and is said to have healing properties *shrugs* i wouldnt know. The 'Rhassoul mud' cleanses and leaves you skin feeling soft and tingly, it also contains aloe vera, which we all know, is amazing for calming skin.

My only complaint is that it contains a yellow dye, which as it fizzes away, gets released. It turns your bath an amazing yellow colour, and the smell lingers. But sadly, so does the dye. You have to rinse your bath after the water is drained, unless you want a line of yellow (and yellow residue on the bottom of your bath) from the water line.

I still love this bomb, and had to buy another!

Out of 5, i will give it 4. Its a great bomb, but sadly the mess can be quite bothersome.

Honey i washed the kids

100g £2.50

Another for any one with a sweet tooth. I bought this online, and when i read the reviews that others had left, i just had to buy two of them, and i dont regret it.

It smells strongly of honey, and the smell liners on your skin all day! I loved smelling my arms when i am stressed, it was so comforting!

It leaves you feeling clean, and unlike alot of soaps, leaves your skin feeling soft, and NOT dried out.

It has a honey comb like layer on the top (as you can see in the picture) which is covered in real honey, with a bit of soap as well. Its great for scrubbing away dead skin, and polishing your body!

Although i love, and cant fault this soap, the sweet smell might be a bit to much for some people in the morning.

5 out of 5 for me! Leaves you clean and with beautifully soft skin, witch a smell that actually lasts all day!
